At Genosphere Biotechnologies, every peptide sequence is reviewed by our expert chemists before we provide a quotation. This process ensures that any potential challenges with your peptide design are identified early on. If any unexpected difficulties arise during synthesis or purification, we will promptly inform you, especially if the agreed-upon purity cannot be achieved.
Our pricing is designed to be both competitive and reflective of the specific demands of each project. Prices are determined based on the sequence, the requested quantity, and the required purity level. Typically, achieving higher purity involves increased production expenses, while larger quantities help lower the cost per unit.
• Online quotation form
You can quickly submit your peptide specifications through our Online Quotation Form. Just provide the necessary details, and our team will respond promptly with a customized quote tailored to your needs.
• Email requests: peptide@genosphere-biotech.com
If you prefer to send an email, please include the peptide sequences (from N to C terminus), desired amount in milligrams/grams, purity level, and any required modifications. This allows us to provide an accurate and timely quote.
For clarity and accuracy in your order, we recommend presenting peptide sequences starting from the N-terminal using the one-letter code (preferred) or the three-letter code if more convenient. Unless clearly denoted otherwise, all amino acids will be considered as the L-enantiomer forms. Here’s how to format your sequence:
• N-terminal and C-terminal designation
To indicate free N- or C-terminal ends, no specific notation is required. Alternatively, you can use ‘H-‘ to signify a free N-terminus (NH2) and ‘-OH’ to denote a free C-terminus (COOH).
Example: H-Pro-Glu-Pro-Thr-Ile-Asp-Glu-OH (7aa) or simply PEPTIDE (7aa).
• Modifications
Indicate any modifications in brackets. For example, (biot)-PEPTIDE-(amide) indicates an N-terminal biotin and a C-terminal amide group (-CONH2). Side chain modifications should be noted in brackets with the relevant amino acid abbreviation, e.g., PEP(pT)IDE (7aa), where (pT) represents phospho-threonine.
• D-enantiomers
Use lowercase letters to represent D-enantiomers, e.g., (D-Pro)-(D-Glu)-(D-Pro)-(D-Thr)-(D-Ile)-(D-Asp)-(D-Glu), or simply: H-peptide-OH (7aa).
For complex peptides or assistance with sequence presentation, our team is always ready to help. We also welcome any relevant literature references, especially for unusual peptide structures.

Accurate information on the required purity and quantity is crucial for a successful synthesis. By default, we quote quantities as gross weight. If you require a specific net weight (peptide weight), please specify this when submitting your request, as it will necessitate a higher synthesis scale and increase costs. The minimum order quantity is 2 mg for any purity grade, and there is no maximum limit—our advanced facilities can accommodate production scales up to sub-kilograms.
Unless otherwise specified, peptides are delivered as trifluoroacetate (TFA) salts, the industry standard. If a different counterion, such as acetate or hydrochloride, is required, an additional processing step will be necessary, potentially affecting the price. Please let us know your preference when requesting a quote.
To ensure quick and accurate processing of your order, we require you to email a copy of your institutional purchase order (PO) along with the prepared quote to: order@genosphere-biotech.com.
If you prefer to pay by credit card, we will send a time-limited, secured link for payment along with the invoice. This ensures a safe and easy transaction.
Our peptides are delivered as stable, lyophilized powders with comprehensive documentation. Lead times vary depending on peptide length, scale, purity, and any modifications ordered. Typically, we can deliver peptides as follows:
Synthesis | 25 mg, >70% | 25 mg, >80% | 25 mg, >90% | 25 mg, >95% | 25 mg, >99% |
Average (*) | approx. 2 weeks | approx. 2 - 3 weeks | approx. 2 - 3 weeks | approx. 2-3 weeks | approx. 3 weeks |
(* Peptides 15 to 20 aa)
The production of custom peptides involves four key steps: synthesis, purification, lyophilization, and analysis. Synthesis and purification are the most time-consuming phases.
• Synthesis challenges
Potential issues may include low yield, incomplete deprotection or coupling, and difficulties in achieving acceptable purity through standard Fmoc/SPPS chemistry. Alternative resins or synthesis strategies may be required to achieve the desired molecule.
• HPLC challenges
Hydrophobic peptides can present challenges during HPLC purification, potentially leading to low yields or even complete loss of the peptide. Special care is required when working with acidic peptides containing free cysteines to prevent oligomerization through disulfide bonds.
Even with thorough planning, unforeseen issues can sometimes arise. Therefore, we provide an estimated delivery time rather than a fixed deadline and keep you informed if any delays occur.
All peptides are carefully lyophilized and shipped to ensure stability and integrity during transit. Your peptides will be delivered via express courier at room temperature (RT), accompanied by a comprehensive synthesis report ensuring you have all the information needed for your research.
• Analytical reversed-phase HPLC trace
UV detection at 220 nm provides a clear analysis of the peptide’s purity.
• Mass spectrometry (MS)
Detailed MS data confirms the molecular weight and composition.
• Tested solubilization conditions
Instructions on how to dissolve your peptide for experimental use.
• Elemental analysis for net peptide content
• TFA content measurement
• Amino acid analysis
• Water content determination
• NMR, CD, and other advanced techniques
We guarantee 100% satisfaction with all delivered peptides.
Please note that our standard peptides are intended for research purposes only and are not suitable for human use. Peptides for such applications must be synthesized under cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) conditions. If you require GMP-grade peptides, kindly inform us so we can accommodate your request.
