Anti-Peptide Polyclonal Antibodies

This service includes the following features:
• Antigen preparation:
Standard antigen is prepared by covalently linking your Peptide to KLH carrier protein.
Peptide should be at least 10 residues long and include a Cys (N- or C-terminal) for KLH conjugation purposes.
• Immunization of 2 rabbits for:
100 ml of ELISA-titered antiserum
Pre-immune control serum
• We deliver 5 to 10 mg of unconjugated peptide with HPLC and MS data (purity 70 to 90%)

Anti-Protein Polyclonal Antibodies (you provide the protein antigen)

This service includes the following features:
• Immunization of 2 rabbits with your Antigen
• 100 ml of ELISA-titered antiserum
• Pre-immune control serum
• ELISA data
• SDS-PAGE & WESTERN blot analysis

Protein antigen requirements:
- 5 mg of protein should be provided (solubilized or lyophilized)
- Protein should be over 10kDa in size. Smaller proteins would require conjugation to a larger protein carrier (e.g. KLH) to ensure good immunization.

Affinity Purification

Following polyclonal antibodies production as described above, you may wish to purify your antiserum by affinity chromatography.

This service includes:
- Preparation of the affinity chromatographic support by covalently linking of your peptide
- Affinity chromatography of your antiserum
- Analysis of collected fractions

From 100 ml of serum, we will deliver approximately 30 ml of purified, ELISA-titered antiserum.

Phospho-Specific Antibodies

This service includes the synthesis of phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated peptides, immunization of 2 rabbits, two affinity purification steps. Deliverables include Phospho-specific antiserum fraction as well as the antiserum fraction specific to the non-phosphorylated sequence.
